This is a tour that allows you to ski all over Zao Ski Resort using the lifts, and also to improve your skills in fresh and deep snow.
This tour is recommended for those who are new to backcountry skiing. This tour is for those who can ski or snowboard freely on the slopes.

Backcountry Tour
This tour is a great way to experience the snow of Mt. Kumano in winter.
This tour is designed for those who are over 20 years old and have the physical strength to hike up for 3 to 5 hours and run for 1 to 1.5 hours on the snow, and have the knowledge of how to use a beacon, blob, and shovel. If you are a beginner or haven't done it for a while, please take a class (about 2 hours) beforehand. The cost is 2000 yen.

Warm clothing (Gore-Tex or other suitable clothing for winter climbing)

Snowshoe Tours
This tour is the easiest way to experience Zao in winter.
We will be walking around Kumanodake and Ogama with snowshoes. This tour is for those who are 20 years old or older and have the stamina to spend 3 to 5 hours on the snow
